I was tired of looking at my old rusty butterfly so I thought I would try and make it whimsical.....I had some old paint and a foam paintbrush so I couldn't do anything too intricate....

That looks great, so cheery. Old paint and a foam brush did the perfect job on the butterfly...in your hands of course...in mine it would have not been that pretty.

I love butterflies and you've done a beautiful job on yours. :-D I really like the colours you've chosen and would have it in a special place in my garden any day.

Sherry8, That is cute. I just bought rusty old daisies that hold a flower pot in it's face. I think I will do that also. Thanks for the idea.

Great job on that butterfly. I'm sure it will brighten any place in your garden.

    Very nice job, Sherry.
What a difference a dab of paint can make, eh?

Thank you all....I have looked at it for years but finally got around to doing it because my sister was the one that could paint....I figured I could keep painting it over and over if I didn't like it.
