I have not been able to open my Garden Jot page for my garden pics since the Hurricane, and thought that that was the problem. Today I got an email from Garden Jot that they have merged with Gardenista. My pages seem to be gone, :( and so far, I have not seen anything of interest there. Bummer.

Yuck, what a disappointment. Do you have the pictures anywhere else?

Every time I try it, I get redirected to Gardenista, and there is nothing there to interest me. They do have some richy rich fancy gardens on display. They are pretty, but no way I can make my garden look that good. Most of the site seems to be over priced advertizing for goods I can never afford. I could not find any forums for posting one's personal pictures like before; and I could not find my garden there. I did email them, but have not yet heard back. I did send them my condolences on the loss of their website. ;)

Well I registered and uploaded a picture last night but now it is gone. I have seen sites dump everything overnight. Some give you a warning but some don't.....that's why you should always keep a second copy somewhere or keep your own copy on an external memory.

As I see this site, it is still good but they took it off line. I have called them. Let's see if they call me back.

Thank you Barb. I had them set as one of my homepages, then right about when hurricane Sandy hit the east coast, they seemed to be down. There was no warning, no mention of them merging or going under. Thankfully, I do have all the pictures on my computer. I just need to save them to disk. The last time I did that, this stupid thing saved all kinds of extraneous files that I did not want, assigned them all the same name, and none of those files are accessible. [that was on the previous hard drive]. I have not yet found a solution. If you find out anything, let me know on here.
