Hey Guys and Girls, I haven't been on for a while, Grand kids you no! I did get to go to a garden party last weekend it was Great!!!! We traded so many flowers, I didn't know what to do, You take plants to her and then you could take the pick of what she had I had so much fun cutting and digging, I'm still trying to find places to plant every thing, Sounds like I'm complaing but believe me I'm not,She had a beautiful yard, After everyone took flowers it never looked like it was touched, That's how much stuff she had,

Sounds like you had a grand time.
I'd be a bit on the nervous side having folks come over and get stuff! :D But if you have lots of plants and know that you've got good respectful gardeners coming over.... Well... I think I'd still be a tad nervous! :D
Congrats on all your new plants!

Congratulations on your babies. :D I'm certain they'll love their new home.

A garden party sounds like a great idea, but I wouldn't allow anyone to dig in my borders. Nobody! Not even a celebrated gardener. Well, maybe a celebreated gardener. I could, however, pot some of my surplus for trade. I don't think anybody would come, though.

I am like all of you I don't think I would like people digging in all my hard work, But I was surprised how gentle they all were,She had an abundance of everything and she said she wanted to share, So she said a garden party would be fun and we all took 3or 4 flowers or bulbs and she seemed to be pretty satisfied with what people done, so I hope she has it again next year. She had a beautiful yard and it went into the woods she had made path with lights on them .There were a lot of wild flowers to back in the woody part. GREAT FUN!!!

Sounds like everyone had a great time and experience. With such a success next year would be a real joy to look forward to again.
