I found this stack of large holiday painted bells at our favorite thrift store. It was originally intended to be a candle holder with a pointed end for skewering a round candle. But I had one of the glass ornaments that I had painted a while back that looks just perfect with it. Now to find a place out in the garden for it.

Also at our favorite thrift store was this that used to be a hummingbird feeder until the glass insert was broken. I found it there some time last year, it has been one of those things things that I knew I would eventually figure out what could be done with it. So now it is a hanging planter with Morning Glories growing happily in the bottom part of a plastic Odwalla drink bottle.

Oh Toni I really like the painted bells. I know you'll find the perfect spot for it in your garden and, when you do, could we see it in situ please? What a novel way to use an old hummingbird feeder. The morning glory looks happy in its new home. Well done!!

    I like them both!
What size are the holiday balls? They look to be pretty big in the photo.
Bet you'll find THE perfect spot for it!

What a cute feeder/planter Toni. Maybe it will attract hummingbirds interested in gardening?

And good job on the Christmas bell totem.

Your bells are very colourful, just the thing to cheer one up on a gray day. :)

I wonder if the birds will feel insulted when they find out what you've used their house for? :D
