Hi Everyone, this is a novelty, posting while flying at 30,000 feet. Right now we are over Virginia......Hi Donna!! There is however, no dirt at this altitude so I can't plant flowers. Lots of moisture(clouds). The airplane has WiFi. The computer age gets more interesting all the time. Time to catch up on posts. Jerry
A picture from up in the clouds. Vacations are fun. I will visit with my sibling, who I have not seen in 10 years. 30,000 feet up, on vacation ( photo / image / picture from Jerry Sullivan's Garden ) Jerry
One of the last places to escape the Internet is no more. Not sure if scared or excited Quite a novelty to be browsing the Stew from the air! Thanks for sharing Jerry.
Jerry, I saw you as you passed over Red Gate Farm! I waved and held up one of my chickens. Did you see us? I'm so glad you are having a vacation, and visiting with a sibling. Enjoy, enjoy, and if you hit a big payday at the blackjack table, or at the one-armed bandits, remember your friends at GardenStew and share the largesse!
Frank, I couldn't resist the novelty of the experience, Gardening 5 miles up. Jane, was that an Americana chicken you held up? Jerry
Jerry have a great visit with your sibling.I'm glad you are able to post to us from way up high.Have a good time in Vegas.
No Jerry, that was my neighbor Ann holding up her Americauna hen. Mine was the large black Australorp with the red comb just after you passed over Ann's farm. I know it's difficult from that altitude, but you really must work on your chicken identification skills .
Thank you Glendann. My sister has lived in N Las Vegas 45 years, we do not see each other too often. All chickens look the same from up here....small. Farms look big....sort of. It is hard to tell what is growing. Maybe I can get the pilot to buzz a few fields......737 flies low over Texas grain fields. An hour and 25 minutes till we land
oooh have fun! The bf and I are going to Las Vegas sometime before christmas to visit a friend who just moved out there Take lots of pics!
Hey you could ask the pilot to detour via Scotland so that I can wave to you too Jerry. I don't have a chicken to hold up though - would or roofer do instead? Have a lovely break and visit to your sister. She must be excited about seeing you after all this time.
Oh! I missed you Jerry, I was in the basement making 28 quarts of applesauce for my in-laws, Sorry, but I hope you have a great time with your family, anyway!
