You got a beautiful garden Philip and the roses are great. I love roses and luckily you are way across the globe or else my wife will be getting fresh roses Your "wee friends" looks good with butter garlic sauce!!
OH Philip.... they are all beautiful. How much work did you put into getting those snails to listen to you?
Well Philip I've heard of writing spiders but never writing snails. Your roses are beautiful and I can't really pick a favourite but those peach coloured ones are something special. Molly seems to be enjoying the garden but where is Hudson? Maybe he prefers the shade to full on sun. Many thanks again for showing us photographs of your garden. I would love it if mine look half as good as yours.
Hi Eileen, writing snails,..lol,..i think i had too much sun today!. Those Peach coloured roses are a great hit with everyone,..i have an orange coloured one almost ready to flower,..now that i do like,..and just half an hour ago a chap whom i did a favor for gave me a present of a rose,..Ice Cream,..ivory white blooms strong scented,..its in the ground already. Poor Hudson sleeps lots,..sleeps right beside the computer,..she does wake a few times per hour,..and not inclined to sunbathe like Molly. Carolyn, i have a way with slugs and snails,lol,..i think they heard my ex of 1979 call me a slime, . KK Ng, there would be plenty of roses for your wife here soon,..you wont see the leaves for blooms,..oh good idea about the garlic,..if i could find enough for a snack!.
Yes... Philip.... perhaps a bit too much sun for you today! Everything is simply gorgeous... but those roses! They're so perfect they almost look fake! Wish I could get roses to perform like that for me.
Lovely garden fotos, Philip. That Scotch Broom looks particularly attractive. I have been contemplating adding one my flower garden, this year; however, I will have to find a place first.
Yes Cheryl, it was a very warm day here today!,lol. Here is another rose for you!,..this one takes a lot longer to fully bloom and gets damaged a lot before the full bloom. ( photo / image / picture from Philip Nulty's Garden ) However an easy bloomer that has many blooms together. ( photo / image / picture from Philip Nulty's Garden ) Hi Sjoerd, you have the same problem as i,..looking for a space to plant another flower,..we never stop wanting just one more.
I mentioned earlier that a friend gave me a present today of a rosebush,..'Ice Cream' a Hybrid Tea Rose,..i did him a favor last week when his boat engine would not start,..he was miles up the lake,..i towed him home,..he remembered this rose as he thought i was fooling when i showed him the picture,..i took this in the National Botanic Gardens,..same rose. Ice Cream. ( photo / image / picture from Philip Nulty's Garden )
That's a very nice thank-you-present indeed. You should ask him if he wants you to tow him again. I could gladly eat that one too I think. It looks scrumptious.
It could easily happen!,..from the picture i can understand just why he thought it was real ice cream,..he doesn't do any gardening himself.
