Our golf club has been negotiating a much lower price for gas from an independent supplier, rather than get it from British Gas or any of the big suppliers. (This firm only deals with companies). I've learned that there's a big difference between what the major companies pay for gas and what they charge householders. Now I appreciate they have on going costs, but the mark-up is between 500 and 600%. So we're all getting ripped off.
