I found out 2 weeks ago that I am coming into some unexpected money from a class action lawsuit that I participated in against an insurance company. About $7000 worth. One of the things I am getting is a new 23 horse power yard tractor with a 50 in. belly mower. I was expecting the check yesterday or today, but haven't gotten it yet. Am saving a pretty good amount by buying it at the end of the mowing season. It is a Cub Cadet which is one of the best tractors. My old one still runs but the mower deck is about shot on it. So I will use the old tractor for pulling the trailer and hauling wood etc. And also for the snow blower that mounts on the front of it. If I need to get a new snowblower in the future, the Cub has one that I can get. After I get it, I will post a pic of it.

I remember the fun you had last year with the snow Capt, I wonder what treats this year has in store.

Good luck with the new tractor when you get it. Pics will definitely be a sight :)

Just let's hope the cheque arrives soon - like tomorrow!!!

I'm really looking forward to seeing the new tractor mower and I'm pleased the old one will still prove useful.

They delivered it, but it's been raining ever since they did! So I haven't been able to play with it. I put gas in it and drove it out to the shed and parked it. Tomorrow it is supposed to rain also, but I am going to bring it into the garage for a while. I have to adjust the mower deck and get it leveled up and there sre a few other adjustments that I have to do. With it having an automatic transmission, it is easy to drive. You push forward on the pedal and it goes forward. The harder you push the faster it goes. Then you push on the back part of the pedal and it goes backward. No more shifting!

Awwww what a pity rain stopped play!!! :( Never mind it'll give you time to get those adjustments done and then there'll be no holding you. :-D

Sweeeeeeeeet! I lost my ability to drive for a few years, and my sweetie felt so bad he bought me a big fancy yardman mower, 3 mulching blades and a briggs & stratton. Hey, I gotta mow nearly 5 acres of rolling prairie here! Have fun with your new wheels!
