Well so far we have had one of the coldest Aprils that I can remember since moving back to Ohio in 1980. Yesterday, Sat., we had a high of 34 with rain snow and sleet. Our avg. temp for now is 62. But they say by next weekend we are supposed to be back to "normal". We caught just the northern edge of that big storm that came out of Texas and now the east coast is really catching it. Upstate New York could get a foot of snow or more out of it. All on April 15th!

What a contrast to our weather CK. We have wall to wall sunshine at the moment and haven't had rain, snow ot high winds for a couple of weeks now.

I hope that cold snap doesn't come our way! I want to get some of my tender plants out of the greenhouse to make room for more sowings.

We didn't get the rain and sleet yesterday, Capt. It was cool and windy as is today but no precipitation.

Well the weather was a bit better today. Had some sun and clouds and the temp got up to 53. BUT, we had 30 mph winds with gusts well over 40 to 45 mph. That made it feel like it was in the 30's. Supposed to be windy again on Mon.

We're getting back to normal here too. Finally got outside to start cutting back the damage from the late hard freezes. Was so happy to see my cherry trees look ok. They flower later than my ornamentals and look like they'll be ok.

Even hotter here today. The garden needs water badly and the pond will have to be topped up. Makes me wonder just how hot summer is going to be!!

We are still having winter like conditions in Ontario too. This morning we have strong winds and wet snow. Weatherman says it will be 19°C by the weekend. What a weather roller coaster!! I have a feeling once it finally warms up here, we will have a scorcher summer too Frank.
