Just getting the tomato garden started. Most of the heirlooms i started from seed before christmas. The garden store has a good selection already. I have planted: Black Krim, Black Prince, Brandywine, Caspian pink(one of my favories), Cherokee Purple, Jubilee, Juliet, Mortgage Lifter, Phoenix, Pineapple, Roma, Super Sweet 100,Tomato, chello, and Yellow plum tomato. I also planted Desert King watermelon, Jubilee watermelon, and Moon and stars watermelon, red potatoes, yukomn gold potatoes, celery, raddishes and stevia. I still have space for 5 more plants.

I've been thinking about doing something like this on a much smaller scale... maybe just one or 2 cinder blocks. I was thinking of green onions. Do you think they would do okay?
Oh yeah... and your tomato plants look GOOD!

Thats a lot of varieties. They are looking great, too. So what are you going to do with all of them once they start to ripen?

Green onions should do great. I am going to make tomato sauces, salsas, salads, and I should have some extra to give neighbors, friends, and family.
