Ghislaine de Féligonde ( photo / image / picture from gardenelf's Garden )

This is Ghislaine de Féligonde, my favourite of four climbers on my pergola. She has lots of clusters of small flowers, that change from soft orange to peachy-pink, then go creamy-white.

(Looks like I may well have to remove one of my climbers in the near future, because silly little me planted too many in too small a space .)
As you may have guessed, Ghislaine wo'nt be the one to go!

Absolutely Beautiful!! So delicate, almost like it's made out of fine porcelain.

Lovely! I had never seen nor heard of this rose before. Is she scented?
I wonder how it would like Texas? I must do a bit of research. Thank you for posting her picture and adding to my rose addiction!

Your Ghislaine de Féligonde is gorgeous gardenelf. The way it changes colour is an added bonus.

Thanks all, I'm glad you like this rose. I'll take a few more pics later, so you can see how she looks on my trellis.
Marlingardener, yes, her scent is as delicate as her looks.
She grows in hardiness zones 5a thru 9b, so you should be ok in Texas.
(this rose-addiction thing has no cure, I'm afraid.....
    :-D )

On the one hand I'm very VERY sad that my garden is way to full and small (4m x 6m) to plant any more roses, on the other hand it guarantees my addiction won't get out of hand... :stew2:
But then again, I do have sort of a second garden: my boyfriend lives just around the corner, and has a very big garden which I tend as well. Previous occupants left it looking like a pebble beach, but there's lots of potential space for, err, ROSES!!! :D

I just knew i heard a mention of roses!!,..a thorny subject indeed.

Gardenelf,..you are lucky that you have a boyfriend with a garden!,..having a small garden can be satisfying in that you wish for a bigger garden,..but are mostly restricted to growing according to its size,..having more and more space,..believe me its a never ending garden we all want,..never to be stuck for room for another addition,..plants,..bushes,..then trees, :D .
