A friend on another forum just posted this link, and I already bookmarked it. I don't know about you all, but I NEVER want any GMO seed or produce. GMOs are poison and have almost no nutrition in them. Since politics are not allowed, I probably cannot post the link for that statement. Here is the link for getting non GMO seeds for your gardens: http://www.off-grid.info/food-independe ... liers.html I try hard to avoid GMOs whenever possible. My sister lost a section of bowel because of them. Her DOCTOR said so.
Thanks for the link. I'm like you and prefer not to use any GMO seeds so your link will be very useful.
Two of my favourite seed suppliers are on that list, and I'm ever so grateful. Thanks for sharing it.
I recently found this guy on YouTube, and have started following him on Google+, as well as subscribed to his channel on YouTube as well. He really knows his stuff, and is ready to share all his knowledge (and seeds as well) with anyone in the world who is interested. I haven't contacted him yet, I was thinking of inviting him over to join our community. You guys can also invite him over, (the more the better)! Here is the link to his YouTube page: http://www.youtube.com/user/mhpgardener This is his FaceBook page: https://www.facebook.com/mhp.gardener And here he is on Google+: https://plus.google.com/u/0/100045002521377693956/posts
Both of my favorite seed companies are on the list. I think the internet has really helped us to educate ourselves. It has also become profitable for companies/farmers to carry/grow a larger/different variety of seeds. It is nice to have information from non biased sources and/or sources with a differing point of view.
I've been carrying a list of non GMO seeds in my wallet for a couple of years now. Looking at the list recommended here I'd like to make a comment. The company's listed - at least some of the Canadian ones - aren't completely GMO free. They offer SOME non GMO seed in their catalog, but offer a lot of seed that is GMO. Read and make your selections carefully!
