I was going through the gift wishes from some of the local food pantry patrons, trying to match up donors and those who might not have a great Christmas. I know Christmas isn't all about gifts, but a little cheer and a wrapped present never hurts.
What do you, personally, want for Christmas? I'd like one of those walk-behind cultivators with a blade and a big wheel. Or a mule, or two.

I want at least one minion to do the digging and heavy lifting in the garden. But since that's not gonna happen I have asked for a small TV for my craft room or the old stand-by gift cards from Lowe's and/or Home Depot or local yarn shops, a small Gem tree either Amethyst or Jade for my craft room or The Scoop one cup coffee maker.

And I have already started accumulating suggestions for my birthday wish list. ;)

Skylight for the living room would be great for those dark days of winter. :-D I ordered myself a scuffle hoe for Christmas/spring

I could use a new shovel.
    I want a camera with a better/higher zoom.
But if someone really wanted to treat me nice... a round trip ticket to Hawaii to hang out with my brother's for a week would be nice. :smt114

Well, I am getting (not that I want it so much as does my dear and beloved husband) a plastic layer for the garden. Now we can lay row after row after row of plastic to plant row after row after row of peppers and tomatoes and never have to kneel on the ground again to get the plastic laid down for the summer. Now, what do I want? Summer.

I would like a laptop computer, an I-phone and maybe a big screen tv. We don't watch tv and don't have a connection but maybe if we had one we would watch it in winter time. What we are getting are new tires for our truck!

A Christmas gift for me would be to know where I will be gardening next Year.

Toni, I'd love to be your minion! I'd learn so much and we'd have so much fun. Maybe that should be my gift wish--be Toni's minion!
Cheryl, a new shovel is a thing to be cherished. Hope you get a good one. If not, perhaps you can borrow Jewell's scuffle hoe.
Bip, I hope you get all your gift cards, especially the botanical interests one. Then you can tell us what you got, and why!
Carolyn, I'd send you some summer, but it's 25 degrees here and summer is in hiding.
John, wherever you garden next year, it will be spectacular and productive.
And Dooley, you'll get a lot more pleasure from the new tires than you'd get from a big screen TV. We have TV, and believe me, you aren't missing a thing! (sorry I was late in posting this to you Dooley, but a neighbor came to the door for eggs, and I had to sign off.)

I've asked DH to build me a harvest table for Christmas. He promised to make me one 10 years ago when we first moved here and I am still waiting!

A garden free of cat poo would do for me. I can also always use sacks of sunflower hearts and peanuts for 'my' birds. Maybe a kind person who would clean the feeders in the garden for me as it's a job I don't enjoy much.
