:-D I'm getting into gilding. Yesterday I looked at as much books about gilding as possible, all from my local library. I think I have to buy gold paint and apply it to a blank wooden frame if I want it to have the color of gold, but in order to do real gilding I'd have to buy some equipment and tools to apply gold minerals to a base. What do you guys think?
