Today, I made ginger pear jelly. Just six 8 oz jars because I only had five large red pears to use. I used low sugar pectin and fructose so I'll see how it worked. It should be as good as the sugar and regular pectin. The flavor won't be affected, just the sweetness, maybe. I've made the regular kind but not the low sugar kind. Tomorrow or Sunday, I will make zuchinni jam or jelly. Oh! I just heard one jar seal. That's good. I have half a jar that we will try when it gets cool. Maybe peanut butter and jelly for lunch. Do let us know how it tastes Dooley as I'd much rather use fructose and low sugar pectin than the 'normal' pectin and sugar. You know I like both peanut butter and jelly but somehow can never get used to putting the two together. :(

Sounds really good Dooley. Richards aunts used to make pear honey. I never got the recipe, and now I wish I had. That stuff should have been illegal it was so good.

With peanut butter my favorite is a big slab of sweet white onion. Now that is a sandwich!
