So, Glenda, what did you do with your first day of retirement? Did you sleep later? Did you work in your yard? Did you go shopping? What did you do? doolely

I'd like to think that she spent the day resting and relaxing, maybe reading a book, sitting in the sun with a nice cool drink to hand. :stew1:

However, knowing Glenda, she was probably 'on the go' all day long and ended up exhausted!!

We had a beautiful fall day in Texas (where Glenda and I live), so after sleeping in a bit, she probably went junkin'. Which is just what we are going to do real soon! Congrats again on not having to go to work... and doing only what you want to do!

[IMG] Glad to know that you all had such a pretty day
for Glenda's first day of retirement, KG!
I do hope that she was able to spend the day doing whatever makes her happiest.

I'm so tickled that you two will be getting together soon,
I KNOW it's gonna be a blast for you both - I can't wait to read all about it
and to see the photos that you'd BETTER remember to take. ;)

Ummmm!!!!! I had a wonderful relaxing sunny morning out looking at everything in my yard with Shanna & Cheyenne. Then I decided to go spend my Farewell gift certificate from Lone Star Pottery.Took in a yard sale and bought three wonderful pots.Just had a great day as the day was just beautful as Kuntrygal told you.I did pretty much what all of you thought.I don't think it has shunk into my little brain that I don't have to do a darn thing I don't want too Hehehehe until I get darn good and ready soooooooo nice.I woke up at my usual time and got up so it was a nice day.I will post what I bought in another post.I think Kuntrygal and I will have a great time in Crockett. It will be fun to meet one of the Stewers in person.Wish it was all of us but since it can't be we will enjoy it for all of you.I'll take Shanna and jubabe (if jubabe feels like it) along to take pictures. Then it will be 4 of the Stewers there. :stew1: :D
