Glendann is back in the hospital-NOW is home at Heather's

Just wanted to let everyone know that Mama is back in the hospital. She was confused and very drowsy when I woke her up.I got her to the ER and the test results weren't good. She has pneumonia and her kidney functions are getting worse. She also has another kidney infection.So I'm praying that they address the tumor while she is there cause I'm pretty sure it isn't helping her health at all. Please continue to lift her up in your thoughts and prayers. She loves the cards that some of her fellow Stewbies have sent to her in the mail. She just lights up when she see them. So if you would like to send her a get well card, please PM me and I will give you my home address and I will get them to her.

 

Thank you for the update Heather. Glenda is at the top of my list of prayers... oh, I wish I could give her a hug in person... Please give her an extra from us. Take care of yourself and your family -- I know you're stressing over her too.

 

Thank you so much for this update, Heather. I am a bit distressed at Glenda's going back into the hospital. It is not clear why the infection has returned. Did she have a ten day course last time? How's her BP these days?
Ach...I find it dreadful for her and you guys that this is returning.
Please do keep us posted. Say "Hello" to her for me, will you?

 

Heather, please give Glenda our best wishes, and assure her she is in our thoughts daily, hourly. This is not a happy time for you, so we thank you for keeping us informed, in addition to all the rest you are doing for your family.

I've said it before, but I'll say it again - Things may look bad at the moment, but it should be noted that she (Glenda) is right now under supervision. Surrounded by qualified people who have the know-how (as well as the equipment) to take care of individuals in her condition. So there will be no nasty surprises. Therefore I am fully confident that we will not get any bad news.

Yes it is tough (not saying that it isn't). But I am just pointing out the fact that it is far better to be in control. Or be surrounded by people who know what they are doing. Rather then get totally surprised by an ailment...

Which is why I'd like to tell everyone over here, specially Heather - To try not to worry too much. Otherwise, if we start to worry, then just imagine what it would be like for Glenda...

Therefore I urge everyone over here to be extra positive about the whole thing. As worrying will not achieve anything aside from some more mental anguish.

I say again, be positive, be confident, and than try to convey this strength to Glenda (be it through prayer, a get well soon card, or a positive post over here in this thread)!

Glendann Update

Mama is about the same today. She is still confused, she won't believe me when I tell her she is in Montana. Her doctor is going to do a MRI to see if she has had a stroke. She remembers me,Trey and Logan,but she stumbled on Elijah's name and she forgot Joe on Thursday but remembered him last night. I will update you tonight when I get home from the hospital. Keep praying!
