I just spoke with Glendann...she wanted me to let all her 'stewbies' know she is facing kidney surgery. She can't get into see the kidney specialist till March 8th. The doctors already know that the mass is as large as her kidney. Glendann said they won't know until the surgery whether it is cancer, but it has to come out. Fortunately we can survive with one kidney. I'm sure she will check in here when she feels a bit better. They have her on Flexeril that has her very 'relaxed', shall we say!
We will remember Glenda in our prayers and hope for a successful operation with a speedy recovery. Jerry
Oh gosh poor Glenda is having a dreadful time of things. I hope the surgery proves a great success and that the mass isn't cancerous. Thankfully the 8th March isn't too far away. I hope they book her in for the operation quickly. Many thanks for keeping us up to date and please pass on our love to Glenda and let her know we're all thinking of her.
Thank you so much, Kuntrygal. Glenda has been having her share of tough luck lately, hasn't she. I wonder what the specialist will have to say. Hang in there, Glenda...We are with you.
Thanks Kuntrygal, good thoughts, prayers and healing vibes to Glendann. Be strong and get well quick!!
Got everything I can crossed for a good report from the surgery. I wondered about her comment yesterday in a post to Dooley about her not being back down here before winter when she had originally planned on coming back in summer. Glad she is up there with Heather and her family.
Sending all good wishes for Glendann to have a successful surgery, and a good prognosis. More (((hugs)))
Glenda's been on my mind... I sure hope she will be feeling better soon. Adding my prayers and good thoughts to everyone's..... If you read this Glenda, we're all here for you!! xo
