Glenda's computer

Glenda called and said her computer crashed and she can't get it to power up at all. I will call her in a bit and see what she thinks might be wrong with it. Gee, It will be tough sending her a pm to say good morning or good night because she won't be able to get them. No flower pictures either.

Egads! I know all too well how frustrating that can be! I hope Glenda gets it up and running quickly!

 

The wall socket might be bad. Tell her to check and see if it is fried. She might also need a new power cord. you can pick one up just about anywhere that sells computers.

 

Uh-oh! Fingers crossed for Glenda's computer... I hope she manages to fix it.

 

I hope she is back on line soon...hopefully it is nothing too expensive...Sherry

 

I just talked to Glenda and she is so frustrated!! She is going to take the computer to someone and get an estimate. I hope it's affordable. She is lost without it! But then, aren't we all?

 

Glenda just called and said her computer is in the 'hospital' and she didn't know when she will get it back... or even what is wrong with it. :-? I know she is totally lost without it. Hopefully it isn't serious and that she will be back on line again real soon!

 

It's the internal power supply that is the problem. Steve told her that if he can get one from Frye's it won't cost too much but if they don't have them he will not be able to fix it because to use a different power supply would mean changing too many other things to make it compatible. So, cross your fingers and hope they still have one on hand for an older computer like she has. Computers change so much that an older computer doesn't even have to be old to qualify as older. There just has to be a newer model out. dooley

Yes, here is hoping and fingers crossed that Steve can fix it.I know she is lost without it. You buy a computer on Monday and by Tuesday it is an older model!

 

Got my fingers AND toes crossed. It's troubling how unpredictable something we rely on so much can be!
