Glenda's computer wouldn't come up this morning when she turned it on. She has been having some problems with it lately. Since it is still under warrenty she is going to take it to the store tomorrow. I think it came from Best Buy. She says she will be back as soon as she can. dooley

Oh no!! We just get Glenda back and now her blasted computer goes on the blink. I do hope it gets sorted quickly for her. I'm keeping my fingers tightly crossed.

Glenda's computer is Sick! Glenda took her computer to Best Buy in College Station today. They cannot fix it so they are sending it back to Hewlitt Packard as it is under warrenty. They think it is either the mother board or the power supply. I think that was the same problem with her old computer, the power supply, that is. She says it will be at least two weeks and maybe longer. They will call when it comes back. dooley moderator's note: moved this post into an already existing topic
I talked to Glenda tonight and she is about ready to climb the walls already. She can't imagine how she will make two weeks +. It's too hot to get out and work in the garden ... maybe this would be a good time to go back to the houseboat!!
sux not having the net... she will have a lot of reading to do here when she gets back.. i keep a backup computer just in case. I dont have expensive computers and my backup one is quite old but its nice to have in case of the main one is having problems.
Glendann's computer is sick Mama took her computer to Best Buy and they have to send it to the manufacturer to fix it.They said it could take up to 2 weeks to get it back. They think it has to do with the power supply,but not sure. I will try to keep everyone updated. Life has been crazy lately with school and two little boys who seem to fight constantly, so I will do my best to let ya know when Mama gets her "baby" back!
Oh dear another two weeks!! Poor Glenda will be tearing her hair out by then. Maybe Dooley and DR can let her post a message now and again to let us know how she's doing? Give her my love and tell her she's being missed here at GardenStew.
I am so sorry to hear that, I bet she's beside herself :'( Tell her we miss her and can't wait to hear from her again. If I get a minute I'll give her a call. I was hoping I'd get to see her the end of the month but I guess she's too far south :'( I'm flying back to Atlanta to drive back out west with my aunt. I was hoping to visit with her and Brian and Laura but I guess 40 doesn't run through Madisonville
