These are the flowers that I took pictures of early this morning. They are in Glenda's yard. The three pink amaryllis are three different plants.

This red one is actually two different plants

These are two roses on the same bush

I have three Amaryllis of the same color in a pot out front. I need to get pictures of them posted.

Daiseybeans, I wasn't sure the ones I have in a large pot out front would bloom when my daughter gave them to me, but this is the second spring for them. When I lived in south Florida they were common garden plants.

Lovely amaryllis. We use them for Christmas plants. :D Wish I could smell the roses.

Gosh Glenda's roses are early compared to here. My rose bushes are only just managing to produce their first leaf buds!!

Glenda, you must miss your garden... but I'm sure being with your grands makes up for it. That's really sweet of Laura to post pics -- you guys must live nearby to one another. Nice to have someone to watch your blooms with as much care as you have for them, huh?

Glenda, it's a good thing I took that picture yesterday because today they are just petals on the ground. Between the pouring rain and wind they just fell apart. The amaryllis look a little bedraggled but are still doing better than the poor roses. I guess they are a little sturdier. dooley

Glenda/Laura, what a neat story! It seems like others also have connected with Stewers who live nearby too. Nice people attract nice people.
