Love the Asters! How come I haven't grown them?
And that Pink Hollyhock has got to be my favorite of this batch.

    Thanks Cheryl,
one of the ladies communicating with me is living in Texas and is looking forward to her Asters blooming next month,..she is in Zone 8.

The Asters i have in clumps were given to me back in 1999 though there were just about a dozen plants then,..they multiplied enough that last summer i could split them up,..mine are prone to Mildew so i have to keep a close eye on them as the Mildew would spread to my roses,..however the spray i use in the garden for roses does for the Asters as well,..yes you will have to add Asters to your must do list,..
    :) .

Such pretty flowers for September 3rd! Not much is happening in my yard except for a yellow iris! I cut everything back when I was on vacation a few weeks ago, hope I get another round of blooms!

    Hi Deanna,
its a good year for my blooms,.. even with all the rain,..i suppose lots of rain is better than lots of sun and no rain,.. ,..i hope you get a bumper display after your cutback.

    Hi Gail,
a slightly different display of blooms this summer compared to last year,..i gave away lots of Foxgloves in order to make room for the Hollyhocks,..swapped new roses i grew for cuttings,..for Azalea and Camellia,..and some others i have no name for until they bloom,.. .
