We are driving down to Jackpot, Nevada today. Do a little gambling, a little people watching, eat food I don't have to cook and just relax and have a good time.
Have a great time. Take some photos too, a city named Jackpot ought to have some interesting scenery. We take mini vacations a few times a year, just to get away from the everyday. No cooking or cleaning for a couple of days does wonders for your mood.
If I cross my fingers and say a few magic words, and you do awfully well with the gambling, will you split the winnings with me? (If this worked, I'd be rich, so don't count on it too much). Have a great time, eat some great meals, and let us know how the slots and tables were.
We had a great time and I came back rested and relaxed. We gambled a little, people watched, met some friends for dinner, had a few drinks. DH went back to the room and I gambled some more. Lucked out and made enough to cover most of what we lost, , and went to bed happy. We did a little shopping on the way home, had a great lunch and bought a pizza for dinner to take home. It ended up, with travel time, 2 days of no pressures, no housework and no cooking!
That's the way to keep young and active. Glad you had such a good time. Many years ago we went for a weekend at a casino in Louisiana, we had set aside $40 for gambling, lost it, made it back and stopped there. It was just being away and together that made it a special weekend.
