I know there are some people from Canada here and I am heading up to Montreal this weekend. I was just wondering if anyone had suggestions for sightseeing things or anything that would be interesting to do. I have a limited amount of time to go out, so I want to try to keep the things I do to a small amount of time. Hope to hear from some of you thanks!

Sorry Riccur, I've never been to Montreal. BUT I have heard a bit about what to do there. Not sure about the timing, but Montreal has a lovely Botanical Garden and Butterfly House. There are also tours through the narrow, old cobblestone streets in the historic district and GREAT food! There is also Notre-Dame Basilica, an impressive church built in 1636 - from what I've heard a 'must see'. Oh and don't forget your camera ;)

You might check and see if there are any Cajun or Zydeco music / dance concerts.

Thanks for the suggests I looked up the Notre Dame Basilica and it looks like they do guided tours throughout the day. Something worth checking out for sure!
