Has anyone grown golden raspberries? They look good in the catalog but wondered if they grew well, easy or hard to maintain. We have black raspberries that do well but thought about trying the golden. Any help would be appreciated.

Polly I have two golden raspberry bushes in the garden and they're no harder to maintain than any other kind. The fruits are lovely - sweet and juicy. Go get 'em girl they're well worth growing and look good in a fresh fruit salad too. :-D Just watch out because as soon as the fruit is ripe the birds fight you for it. :D

I don't have any, but am hoping to inherit a few canes from a neighbouring lottie holder. I think the golden rasps taste devine and look amazing, like little amber jewels!
