Goldfinches are Back!

    They seem to come and go here, never staying the whole season. Hopefully this gal is gathering to nest here!

    They're such pretty little birds. I enjoy seeing the finches around here. We've only got green ones and not golden ones, but we like them anyhow.

    Ours stay here year around. They love the black oil sunflower seeds I put out all winter.

    Great shots Pianolady! I used to see them around here only in the summer. I had several that were coming to the feeder last winter and they have stuck around.

    So different from our goldfinches but nonetheless beautiful. I do hope there will be goldfinch babies in your garden soon. :-D

    Great photos, looks like they are going to be staying. They visited here a few days ago but that was all.
