We had a good day at the farm market today. I got an order for an apron which I will make this week and take next Saturday. One lady who bought an apron will bring her sister next week because she wants to buy the sister an apron as a gift but wants her to pick it out. The farmers didn't do so well. Due to the heat and lack of rain the fields are drying and there isn't much surviving to sell. They are now depending on fall crops. I can't see how they will survive the heat and come up but we'll see how it does. We had no rain from the tropical storm. The heat is supposed to top 100 degrees all this next week. I think I would hide but I have two doctor appointments on Wednesday. dooley
Try to stay cool if you can Dooley with those temperatures due to rise. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well at your doctors appointments and will wait to hear how you got on. I'm so glad you are still getting lots of interest, and sales, with your aprons. How are the tote bags doing? Have you ever thought of setting up a web page about the lovely things you make to try and generate even more income? Let's hope the farmers get the much needed rain before their autumn crops fail too. It can't be easy for them when they are trying to make a linving from what they are growing.
