Hi everyone, I am new here and am looking for suggestions on plants that grow well in pots and in the shade. I have a screened in porch that I would like to put some on but it doesn't get hardley any sun. So any suggestions would be great. Thanks for your help in advance. Amanda
Elephant ears and Caladiums do great! in the shade. Caladiums add lots of color. Good luck! And welcome!

Thank you for the site I really like the Japanese Maples but they are pretty expensive do you guys think it would they would grow ok in pots for now until next year when we move? Also how tall is 9m in feet. Thats how tall it said they grow. Thanks, Amanda
Well, a meter is just a hair longer than a yard, so figure 9 yards (27 feet). I'll have to go take a wander through that site myself as I have some shady, dry areas that could really use something green.
Wow thats a pretty big tree it says they are slow growing so maybe it would be okay in a big pot for now as long as I don't get a great big one. What do you think? Amanda
