The only seed company that I have used that sells in america is Thompson and Morgan. I order from them every year and have not had problems.

Here's their addy--you can also ask for a free catalogue on their homepage.

    Good luck, Margie.

I've used Thompson and Morgan too and didn't have any problems. I've never had any trouble with any seed company's so I'm curious about any trouble you had Margie.

Park Seeds have caused quite a few people problems Margie. Either everything goes fine with orders or very, very wrong. I much prefer T&M and Chiltern seeds as they are far more reliable and consistantly good.

I have ordered from Park Seed for decades, as my Mom did before me and have never had a problem with them. Gurney's is also good and so is RH Shumway, lots of heirloom and hard to find varieties at Shumway.

For small quantities of seeds at a really FAIR PRICE, try www.superseeds.com to access the Pinetree (located in Maine) site for one of their catalogues or just shopping on line. Pinetree dosn't have a super huge selection, but their quality is fabulous and their service excellant! I've "been thru 'em all" for over 20 years, keep returning to Pinetree year after year as their seeds have aptly proven themselves beautifully. For tomatoes, peppers and eggplant, do try www.tomatogrowers.com situated in Florida: everything listed tells you exactly what to expect from start to finish, especially growing periods needed! As for Park's: PFFFFT!
