I made up a big ol pot of beef and noondles and baked up 8 bisquits. If we lose power, I can just put them on top of the wood burner and we have a hot meal! If we don't lose power, we just heat them up on the stove. A win/win either way!
I hope you don't lose power, and get to enjoy your beef and noodles, and biscuits with electric lights on! We are cold here, too. Well, cold for Texas, and no relief until the end of the week. I've baked cookies, have sweet pepper bread rising, and a pot of chili on the stove. Please don't tell anyone, since this is a no-no in Texas, but I put beans in my chili !
