Gordonia lasianthus. This tree is native to the S.E. United States but there are no herbarium collections for it in Louisiana. Alstromeria blooms.
blissful photons, This Gordonia is beautiful. Perfect. Now I am confused because I thought I had this plant. Mine does not bloom till Sept or Oct. So I Googled it.
