I love Fridays--mainly because my husband will be home for two whole days and I can make his life miserable (kidding, just kidding!). Friday night we have a nice dinner with some wine, sit on the patio if the weather allows, and talk about our plans for the weekend. Wouldn't life be dull without weekends?
Sounds lovely! It's already the weekend here and the first of the Xmas lunches begins today. Prawns, crab and lobster for lunch! Enjoy your weekend together.
Weather doesn't allow that here. It is supposed to be 20f tonight. burrrrr. Hope your evening was lovely.
Sounds like you have a nice weekend planned. dr is home all of the time but a nice dinner is always a good thing. Some special time spent together. I like Fridays, too. dooley
Fridays have always been the best day of the week, they are the gateway to great weekends. Have a good one!! Jerry
I'm in agreement marlin, Fridays are great! Hope you and your hubby had a fun evening. We relaxed and watched a movie together after a tough week.
Fridays is a start of a wonderful week, when I was working Friday is the day I return home to be with my wife and kids because I worked in another town, now everyday is a Friday to me because there is no need for me to go and work anymore..YAHOO!!!!!
Jane, I hope you and hubby get to enjoy the relaxation of Fridays on the patio together for many, many more years. For me Fridays for many years meant no worrying about hubby driving in the mess that is traffic in Dallas and Tarrant Counties to and from work....I could breathe easy for a couple of days. Now that he is telecommuting full time and his travel time is approximately 6 seconds down the hall from bedroom to home office everyday is a breathe easy day since he is no longer on the highway.
I also like Fridays, even though I usually fall asleep sitting in my chair around 22.00. We usually do the good-food-and-wine business on Saturday evenings, since we're both a bit more rested then. Do enjoy your Fridays, Jane.
