Ah, yes, I remember the days when I had a schedule and faithfully completed all my projects.
Then we moved to the farm. Schedule out the window, do what you can when you can, and hope there are no hitches in your plan. Of course, if I weren't having so much fun I'd get a lot more done!

My major projects have been completed (almost). The exterior of the house and garage have been painted.
Plus the bathroom is just about done... all painted, just need some miniblinds, rugs and maybe a couple of cute things on the walls.
Thinking back... 2011 was a very productive year around here!

The project I am working on is the one I found while hunting for something. Of course I needed to look on the internet how many different types of a part for that project were available............. I am now typing this post as I noticed it was relevant to what I was doing. What ever that was............. It doesn't matter because I am writing an article and the page was still up on the computer so after I finish this I will look for a book to find a reference for the article......... I have a lot of interesting books on the bookshelf.......some of which I have not cataloged....which reminds me.........:)

Ripping some siding off and replacing it with cement board. But lumber under old clap board. It was native lumber. Found square nails. Tyvac and foam . Sure makes house warmer.Last year 6 windows. Year before roof. Glad BIL and Sis 20 younger. Helped with windows and roof.
Told oldest Son to teach me to write a book. Since his has sold so well. Would be on my cleaning business. Many Tales I could tell.

Hoo Boy! The projects just never seem to end! Yes, some do get completed, but there are so many more waiting in the wings! We are slowly finishing our basement. That has been going on for (Hhmmm) 2 years now. We are at the paint color stage now. So hard for me. Next will be trim and carpet. Projecting completion in 2013? Maybe...Oh well, we get busy...
Then, outside, there will be never ending projects. I think I got done what I set out to do, however... I am already formulating some flower bed expansions, and of course that will lead to more planting, more mulching etc. etc.

I don't think I got ALL my 2011 projects done, but I sure got a good part of them done - and probably a few things that weren't ON the list too!

Projects lists! I love 'em. When I actually get down to the last couple items, I'm sure to start more. I like to have several things to work on so I don't get too bored. I think having all these projects is healthy. I know a lot of people who don't have the gumption (if that word is still used) to get up and do anything, so I feel lucky that there are so many things that interest me. It's fun to learn new things.

Here's to 2012 and lots of new projects!!!!
