Wow! I just ordered from them Monday night and this morning I got my seeds! So fast!!! I'm sure everyone has seen the Baker Creek catalog - don't they have some of the strangest things? So many different things I've never even heard of! Here's what I ended up ordering (that I've never tried before):
    Wonderberry
    Red Warty Thing Squash
    Chinese Red Noodle Bean
    Yellow Wonder Wild Strawberry
African Horned Cucumber (aka Jelly Melon)
    Lebanese White Bush Marrow

I can't wait to see how they grow!

I hope you'll show us all plenty of photographs of you new 'babies'. Just as soon as they germinate we'd love to follow their progress with you. I have to admit that I've heard of very few of the seeds you ordered so would be really interested to follow to see how they grow for you. :stew2:

LOL - I think I had heard of Wonderberry and the noodle bean but that's it. But seeing the pictures in the catalog made me want them. The name of the squash alone made me want it. Who can't want something called Red Warty Thing???

I'll definitely keep a running log of how they are growing/going!

My stars, your garden will be the wonder of the neighborhood with "red warty things" and "horned cucumber"! Please let us know what these look like, and describe the taste!
I just got my primary seed order, and am awaiting my herb seed order. Isn't seed ordering and anticipating fun?

I've also been ordering seeds 'like they are going out of style' Can't wait for our last frost, been planting anyways because we have enough warm days to just drag them in the house in case of frost.
Wuffle, i sure would like to see a picture of your 'red warty thing.' Don't forget to post when it comes up, please/ ;)

I love strange things, being a rather strange thing myself! I went ahead and started a few Red Warty Things this evening - along with the Bhut Jolokia and about 10 other kinds of peppers :D. I'm having waaaaaaay too much fun!

Wuffle, I thought of you/with this plant; when you mentioned loving strange plants. If you have grow lights indoors, you may want to try this very strange perennial from Thompson and Morgan. I've always loved their variety, and this one's a beauty!
