And outside too! :D Here's a photo from today of the purple Helleborus that blooms the first chance it gets every year:

And here's a photo of the sky we had on Saturday morning:

We haven't seen the sun since.

I must check and see if my hellebores are flowering. I have those gorgeous dark ones too and they certainly cheer me up to see them in the garden when nothing else if flowering.

That is beautiful Droopy! Oh what I'd give to see something blooming in my garden right now!
I'm going to have to settle for the lone bloom on my Kalanchoe.

Oooo, I must go hunt my helebores out, altho they are only young plants so I don't know if I will be lucky enough to get a flower yet.

Those are beautiful purple blooms. That must be a real treat for you. No sun sucks.

What gorgeous Helleborus plants. Those blooms aren't even waiting for the leafy foliage to form properly. They sure are in a hurry.
how nice it is to see them.

The sunrise looks gorgeous, doesn't it. It's a pity the sun is being so bashful at the moment.

Thanks again for the lovely flower fotos. :)

Thanks for liking my hellebore! :D It's nice to see it, even though I know it will get flattened if we have snow. And we always get snow in February, sometimes in March too. Still, it brings me hope.

I love seeing your Helleborus, they look like they are made of satin when they are fully opened.

:D Glenda, that's too funny. Here I am, in a supposed-to-be hard winter country, and have blooms outside, while you are in Texas and have none?

We've got months to go before we see our first sprout, all's buried under several feet of snow. I envy you...but not that long dark spell you have to endure every winter. It's bad enough here when it gets dark by 4:00 PM, and it's encouraging to know that the days are getting longer now!
