Don't quite know what to do with it? Let me show you a couple of examples.

Four teams were working on different sand sculptures on a beach in Kolmården, Sweden.

    The Dutch team:

    Wonder what they're making:

    Amazing sand zebras:

Looks like an alien to me:

Two days later, and they're done. This is my husband's favourite:

Just look at the details on the wolves:

    The alien's got a baby:

I really liked this one. I think it would look amazing in stone, with the both soft and hard lines:

So now you know what to do with your sand. :D

I can only dream of ever making sand scultures like those Droopy. I love the wolf one with its intricate detail. You could almost imagine them coming to life. It always seems such a pity that these wonderful works of art will be washed away by the next incoming tide. :(

Amazing sculptures. I like seeing these things when they happen from time to time. Just amazing.
You guys must have spent a whole day there.

I thought the zebra's were well done.

Those are impressive, always like to see sand sculptures that are better than my sandcastles of youth :) Don't sneeze.

Wow, those are really nice. I like seeing the pics of the people actually creating the sculptures too. It's amazing how many different effects they can get with sand -- smooth, rough, hard, soft. Very cool.

We really enjoyed watching how the sculptures came to life over three days. :D I think the artists are amazing. I am just about at Frank's level. Small, rickety sand castles. :D
