Hydrangea 'Pennie Mac' ( photo / image / picture from Cayuga Morning's Garden ) I love the two tone balls of blue and lime green/yellow ( photo / image / picture from Cayuga Morning's Garden ) Blooms at the same time as 'Happy Returns' Hemerocallis ( photo / image / picture from Cayuga Morning's Garden ) The balls various shades of blue make great bouquets ( photo / image / picture from Cayuga Morning's Garden ) This hydrangea has pride of place by our front door! Hey everybody--thanks for your comments & 'seeds'! Tina-your hydrangea is pretty. Do you happen to know what kind it is? Looks very similar to mine.
Hi oubee, Where is Mauritius? Wait, I'll look it up. Oh! You are off the coast of Africa. Frankly, what it would cost me in postage, you could probably buy 5 of them in Mauritius.
Thanks Jewell. I have seen pics of your garden, & I think it is beautiful. My garden is 30 miles west of Boston. It is surprising that it is ahead of yours. I am zone 6A. What is your zone?
BTW, my son (teenager) commented on the hydrangea: "It looks improbable, with those big balls of blue....it looks like it shouldn't occur in nature" I have to admit that I agree!
