I got some great things for my garden yesterday & for an amazing price. An elderly Turkish man in my neighborhood has very beautiful gardens & every spring he sells rooted cuttings from many of his plants & trees. I got a nice 4 ft. fig tree sapling & 3 huge plants in terra- cotta pots (probably close to 2 ft. in diameter). Forgot to ask him the name of the plants. They are similar to an aloe plant or an agave.... but different. Long, dark green strappy leaves; very tough & with a quite sharp point on tops of leaves. Very striking in the garden. Have to go back & ask him what they are. I got all these `great plants for $25.00! You couldn't even buy one of the huge terra-cotta pots for that, at the garden center. What fun!

:smt041 :smt041 The fig tree alone could have cost you $25 dollars from a garden centre. Well done you. :-D

You did very well with the three plants plus the fig tree,..but the Terra-Cotta pots as well was a huge bonus.
