Green Tree Frog

    This morning I am carefully trimming my little maple trees that grow in tubs. You can only prune them a little. Into my vision comes this little sleepy green treefrog. He nicely opened an eye for the photo.

    I just love these little fellows.They are so cute.I have some in my plants and sometimes in the summer they are on my storm door screen door.

    I want one!!!! I wonder what my frogs would make of a relative that lived in trees though!!! :rolleyes:

    Great photo! I don't think I've ever seen a tree frog here. Are they only in certain parts of the country?

    Pianolady, unfortunately no green treefrogs for you. :( He ranges south along the coastal plain into Forida and the Keys, west to s. Texas, and north through c. Arkansas and w. Tenessee (lucky me) to Illinois. 8)
