    We found this rare snail in the woods. Is this common in your country?

    We do have green snails here in Scotland but I don't know if they are the same ones as your one. We call them Green Ramshorns here and they are quite small. :-D

    Really great shot, only seen the brown ones myself, this is quite different.

    Gorgous snail that is . The color so matches the shell.

    Where do they trail. along the beaches or what?

    twice it was found the concrete pillar in the swamp / woods. the shell is about 2" long. with its body sticking out of its shell, it can be 3". It moves fast and shy away a couple of times from the camera. thanks for viewing.
