While looking around on the internet for garden forums, I found this one and I must say, I like it. There seems to be a lot of knowledgable gardeners here willing to share their expertise. I'm so excited!

My name is Lynn, I'm 61 years young and have enjoyed gardening ever since I was a little sprout.

It's springtime here right now so my little greenhouse is full of seedlings and all the spring flowers are blooming.

I love spring except for all the hard work.

    Hi Lynn
Welcome to Gardenstew from southern Ontario!
I even enjoy the hard work during spring time! Winter was a long one this year, wasn't it? Enjoy your greenhouse :)

    Good morning, Netty! :stew1:

I'm originally from Toronto but moved up here to the Collingwood area around...mmm...maybe 30 years ago and loving it.

I agree with you about having such a long winter. So glad it is finally over with and I can go outside and play in the gardens.

    Whereabouts do you live?

Hello Lynn, from Maryland. Glad you are here.
I like the Spring work better than the summer work - in my yard, summer is one constant battle to keep the Local invasives from taking over the world!!!

    Good morning, Daisybeans! :stew2:

It takes me 2-3 weeks to get all my gardens tidied up/perennials divided and moved/more compost spread on gardens/mulching the gardens/planting seedlings in greenhouse. Then the seedlings need to be transplanted into bigger containers, then out in the gardens.

Lots of down and dirty work, but I love it.

All of my gardens are raised beds so I have the good fortune of not having many weeds in them. Grass tries to creep in so I dig it out asap.

Welcome Lynn to Gardenstew. I love all types of greenhouses. Is it possible to see any picts? Would enjoy seeing your flowers in your raised bed also. You have picked a wonderful place to be.
