Thanks Frank, I found yall on the web and look forwards to sharing some stories. My wife Peg is the artist in the family and she draws stuff like that and our Christmas cards and such she does portraits and such but enjoys sketches and cartoons. She made me this to use on the few forums I frequent. It's pretty much me and yes I have a big black iron pot like that.

Laissez les bons temps rouler! Welcome from a small farm in central Texas. Your jambalaya sure looks good--much better than my version. Feel free to ask or answer any gardening questions, post recipes or cooking advice, and just jump in and enjoy!

And and welcome from Cajun Country across the border (I'm over here by Beaumont).
Now you've done it... I'm hungry for some jambalaya!
Looking forward to seeing what all you grow.

Hi cajuncappy, welcome to GardenStew from north central Texas. Glad you joined us and have jumped right in. I have a big black pot like that too but it is a planter out in the front shade bed.
Look forward to getting to know you and life in cajun country.

Soggy is correct... especially the last few months. I still can't even take the riding mower in the pasture without fear of getting stuck.
