I am new to gardening and gardenstew.com I first posted in the Welcome section with a question before I realized this was to introduce new members, not problems... :-D I am a happily married mother of four with one grandson. This year is my 2nd year gardening. I started with one raised bed and have increased the size to two raised beds (4 sections total) and 6 containers. I am excited to join this community and learn more about this hobby that has taken over my life. I find myself up in the wee hours of the morning searching for anything new that might have sprouted and wandering late at night turning leaves to battle slugs and other pests feasting on the fruits of my labor!
