Good morning from rainy Washington. My name is Nicole. I'm looking to learn more about gardening and when the weather perks up, I'll be ready to better maintain what I've got and add to the beauty of our home. Thank you.
Good evening from coastal mid-Norway! You've picked a good place to join, lots of friendly folk with heaps of knowledge they like to share. Hop in and make yourself at home.
Hello Nicole and welcome to our forums. :-D There are many people here who will be able to help you with your garden I'm sure so feel free to ask as many questions as you like.
Welcome from coastal NC, Nicole. Hope you enjoy the "stew". There's a lot of knowledge here. Gardengater
Welcome Nicole from South Louisiana. I'm a newbie on Garden Stew also. Lots of friendly people, so I know you will enjoy.
Hi Nicole, welcome to GardenStew from north Texas glad to have you with us. Do you have a garden started yet or have a place picked out for one? We would love to see pictures of either. Any hobbies, pets, kids? We are nosey :-D
I have a few lovelies, yes. I'll find some pics soon. There's a lot I want to do to relandscape... My favorites are actually indoors though. One, I will end up asking the species of (I think its a money tree, but really big- I call it Charlie) and a venus flytrap named Chompy. I've got 3 kids and a mother in law. Ages 12(girl),6(girl),3(boy). I have quite a few pets: Kara- 1 year old Brindle American Staffordshire Terrier. Tom- 22.5lb long hair cat Gaius and Tory- 5mo old kittens, newly adopted. Gaius is orange tabby and Tory is all black. (Halloween special at the Humane Society) Um, hobbies... I enjoy aquarium fish... too much. I've establishing a 75 gallon for saltwater. Currently only has live rock, sand and 1 fish (the other jumped out last night) A 40 gallon saltwater that has been established for 7 years. A 40 gallon freshwater above the fireplace with random community fish. A 35 gallon with an African Cichlid. A 10 gallon with the other Cichlid (he was a bad boy...) A 1.5 gallon with a few guppies (two pregnant and two that may get culled for development problems. and at my desk here at work, I have 3 tanks (2gal and 1/2 galx2). Each one has a different species of betta. Two are adopted and are sick. I enjoy giving my fish original names. I'm also an artist and enjoy most 'nerdy' hobbies like games and sci-fi.
WOW Nicole you're certainly into fish keeping aren't you? I'd love to see some piccies of your tanks as I used to have tropicl fish a few years ago. You seem to have your hands full with three kids, a dog, cats and fish as well as holding down a job. Well done you!!
Hi Nicole Welcome to Gardenstew from southern Ontario! Sounds like you certainly have your hand full! 3 kids, all those pets AND a job? And you still have time to garden?
Welcome from Kuwait. We have tanks here and back in the States too. Our 150 gallon tank has only one Cichlid because he is a bad boy too. No one else survives there! Here we have many different varieties-I have really enjoyed watching the Rams and Discus. We are thinking about adding another tank. Maybe a saltwater. I look forward to seeing your pictures. Do you have live plants in your tanks? We have them here but not in the tanks back in the States.
hi fron ontario! staffies are nice dogs i have an am. bulldog, a buddie has a staffi wich are bulldog loves. there both crazy.
Welcome from northeast Wisconsin. We had a cichlid tank at one time and they had babies...they suck them up in their mouths when they feel threatened which was pretty neat to watch. We also had a tank of Oscars and they were a lot of fun. No fish now, just dogs.
