Hullo there, I found this site by accident and am wholly delighted. My 2008 gardening plans are: To continue establishing the veg plot i.e. a corner of a field fenced with zinc sheeting to aid protection from winds and rabbits. So far, I've dug out 4 beds and am digging in horse-manure when the rain allows. Currently, there are late planted swedes and onions in 2 of the beds. To utilise the greenhouse which was erected last summer; I've never done greenhouse gardening before but have seeds for tomato, lettuce and melon and I will add some other salad stuff in due course. Flowers! I have a space with 2 small raised beds and an open-topped 16' boat, plus some containers. I had a lot of luck with flowers raised from seed last season and am hoping to again but this time witha bit more foresight and planning! So, a fair bit to be getting on with and I'm glad I can call on others for advice as needed; thank you
