Wasn't sure whether to post this under herbs or vegetables. Anyway I planted everything about a 2 weeks ago and after some rain we had recently everything is looking so great I decided to post here.

This is a leaf wetness sensor. Below this underground there are also soil moisture and temperature probes to monitor soil conditions as well as leaf wetness duration for disease control. All this wirelessly interfaces with a Davis Vantage Pro2 weather station to monitor other environmental conditions that influence the garden. I do find the extra information helpful.
