I bought a Jasmine plant from the local farmers market... Only to discover this California girl cannot expect to grow Jasmine here in Missouri. Can I grow then inside?

I think that you can grow it inside. Is it Jasminum officinale? If so then it would be possible.
I can tell you that here in Nederland it is very commonly sold as a house plant. I have had many and then set them outside after they stopped blooming...but none survived more than one year.

    Good luck with your plant.
