Gosh what a stressful time we've had here of late. My computer finally gave up the ghost altogether and we had to get a new one. Still have to get a printer and scanner as our others are just too old to be compatible with the Vista we have on this one now.
Although we had back-up discs they were not as up to date as they could have been so we've lost sooooo much that can never be replaced. :( I'm slowly getting to grips with this machine but have felt like throwing out out of the window a few times I can tell you. ;) I think I'm getting too old for all this modern technology. I'm still trying to install everything I need on this computer but at least I got my priorities right and got GardenStew back at the top of my favourites list!! Be patient with me until I get everything back on track again won't you? It shouldn't be long now until I'm back as usual every day.

Life just hasn't been the same without you all. :smt009

    Oh boy, Eileen!
It is great to see you back! We have missed you alot.
Really sorry to hear about the compi going out on you. That was a real shame. Ammoying AND costly, in the end....not to mention the alarming inconvience of loosing all the stuff that was on your old hard disk.
So anyway...great to have you back. :)

Glad you are back Eileen. Mine crashed a year or so ago and it took ages to get things back and it still doesn't have some of the old stuff. I have an HP XP Media Center. My son has to come by every once in awhile and get me out of trouble Wannabe

Very happy to have you back with us Eils. It's sad to hear that you may have lost some data though (I would be gutted if that happened). If you have any Vista questions please let me know and I'll do my best to help you out :)

I'm glad to see you back, Eileen! Hope you'll get used to your new friend fairly quickly. I think I need to get some photos burned, I've worked up a slight back log...

I think you will like Vista once you get used to it. It's not that much different from XP. Welcome back! :D

Welcome back Eileen, and welcome to the world of Vista. You will in time get used to it, and find it is OK. As for the lost data, I found I didn't need it as much as I thought. I use a lot of spread sheets, and thought the world had ended, but found that the fun of recreating made up for some of the losses.
