I often see the gulls coming ashore with large shells in their beaks. I have taken many images of them doing this and its still interesting to see them. ( photo / image / picture from Kildale's Garden )
Kildale you must have endless patience to get the shots you do. I presume the gull is about to drop that shell on the rocks to open it? They're fascinating to watch aren't they?
I've lived by the sea most of my life, so gulls and clams are home for me too. Lovely shot, Kildale. The gull is looking very concentrated there.
