Evening All. Haven't been around much this last 10 days or so as the children and I took my mum down to North Devon for a week to visit the family over half term. Had a lovely time, the weather was okay, mild and dry, and we did all the touristy things, as well as visit all the rellies. I have lots and lots of piccies which need resizing, which I will hopefully do tonight, so I will post a few to give you a tour of our holiday.

Straight back to work, and spent 4 solid hours yesteray raking leaves so you can imagine the aches in my arms, shoulders and back today. Note to self, investigate the cost of a petrol leaf hoover. :)

I thought you were just busy working EJ but I'm glad to hear you had a nice break. Your mum would have enjoyed seeing all her relatives and having you and the children all to herself I'm sure. I'll look forward to seeing all your piccies of North Devon.
I know what you mean about leave clearing. I've been doing it too but on a much smaller scale. My old back is feeling it now so I'm glad most of the trees in the village are bare now.
Maybe someone on Freecycle (or even Gumtree) will have a leaf hoover on offer - fingers crossed as it would save you a bit of money.

Sounds like you had a great time in lovely North Devon Emma. I am quite envious :D
I too have been leaf clearing. We have a line of beech trees backing on to our garden and the leaves all seem to make it our way.
Look forward to seeing your pics.
